SUZUKI VIOLIN PROGRAM

Students are taught following the Suzuki Method of Talent Education which helps young children develop musical skills in the same way and with the same natural ease that they acquire language, through imitation of the parent and teacher and constant encouragement and praise from this teaching team. Listening to the Suzuki recordings and memorization of repertoire are foundations of this approach. Parents should read Dr. Suzuki’s book, “Nurtured by Love” to gain understanding of this approach to music education.

The Suzuki Violin Program is a combination of eleven private lessons and eight repertoire/technique groups each Trimester. In addition there are two Group Performances and a Pizza Party Play-in during the School Year.  This is the optimum format for instruction as it gives each student individual attention as well as the motivation and fun of learning and performing in a group setting.

$420 Tuition per Trimester (offers 11 30 minute private lessons and 8 group lessons plus a group recital or play-in. Students who want a 45 minute lesson can add 15 minutes at their private teacher's tuition rate
